What the heck is a GUY doing writing romance novels?
Why don’t we get this out of the way right up front?
Recently, I looked up the Amazon top 50 best sellers in three different categories - Romance, Contemporary Romance, and Clean & Wholesome Romance.
IN ALL THREE CATEGORIES NOT A SINGLE ONE HAD A GUY AS THE AUTHOR
Of course there are some bright stars - Nicholas Sparks, John Green, and others. But the list is surprisingly short. I don’t know about you, but it seems to me that we’ve got an imbalance here.
After all, with the exception of the FF and LGBTQ+ stories, every one of those romance novels pretty much needs a guy as an integral half of the couple! The Happily Ever After requires the guy to be there.
Don’t you think it’s time to hear how the other side sees romance?
Wouldn’t it be great if you could read fabulous, page-turning, dreamy, high-feels, HEA, swoon-worthy, romance novels that are written by, wait for it… A GUY?!
Do yourself a favor and give it a try. What have you got to lose? And maybe, you’ll read some things that you simply can’t get in a novel written by a woman.

I write love stories because I believe… no, that’s not right. I write them because I KNOW that love is real and available to anyone who is brave enough to welcome it into their heart. I am unapologetically and terminally romantic, which might be a little off-brand for a six-foot-one, two-hundred-pound guy, but I’ve learned to deal with it. I hope you do, too. I believe that it’s never too late to invite the kind of love that dreams are made of into your life. In case you need proof, I married my high school sweetheart when I was sixty years young. We’re currently living our happily ever after. I write stories that celebrate hope, and optimism, and promise, and redemption, and second chances, and happy endings. I write them because I know that what you believe and hold in your heart becomes manifest in your life. So, thank you for joining me here and please, dive head first into the deep end of love. Immerse yourself in it, drink deep of it, and spread it generously around you every day. Oh, and one more thing… Bring plenty of tissues.
